The UK Delegation to NATO will host its Eighth Annual UK Industry Day at NATO HQ, Brussels, on Thursday, 24 September 2009.  The event is aimed at giving UK Industry an insight into developments within NATO which impact on doing business funded by the Alliance, explaining how NATO Agencies work, and information on future business opportunities.  The event has the support of the UK’s Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Council (Ambassador to NATO), Sir Stewart Eldon, the UK Military representative to NATO, Lt Gen David Bill, and the Defence and Security Organisation of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI DeSO).

We intend that the day will cover all or some of the following areas of interest, depending on the availability of speakers:

• Delivering Military Capabilities  -
  - Deputy UK Military Representative to NATO
• Role of UKTI DeSO in NATO
  –  UKTI Assistant Director (NATO)

  - NAMSA
• Workshops with NATO Agencies on contracting methods/opportunities
• New NATO Headquarters Project  - schedule and opportunities
