The 60th anniversary Summit meeting of NATO Heads of State and Government on 3-4 April was jointly hosted by France and Germany.
Against the backdrop of a celebration of NATO’s achievements over the six decades that have passed since the North Atlantic Treaty was signed, NATO leaders used the meeting to focus on current operations, strategic issues and the future of the Alliance.

60th Anniversary of NATO: Rt Hon Lord Robertson of Port Ellen KT GCMG honFRSE PC, who was the Secretary General of NATO between 1999-2003, delivered a speech during a reception at the Foreign Office held to mark the 60th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) on Tuesday 31 March.
